My Life This Week .........

Just thought that I’d drop a quick line to everyone to explain my absence from most sites for about the next week (perhaps two). I have a lot of family stuff going on, as mentioned in my previous post, and I have a lot of stuff to sort out so I won’t be able to log on as much, if at all.

This week I have been writing a lot of episodes reviews for a few of my favourite shows. I have been doing them short hand and then writing them up properly when I have time. So far I have like 20ish to edit and upload. So that in itself is going to take me a few days. I did try my best to do some of them today, but we had visitors all day and so had no such luck.

Anyways I’m also trying to make two new E/O videos for SVU. I had a brain wave while I was in the bath the other night and wrote them down and am now trying to sort out my clips so that I can also make those when I have chance. But the way things have been going over the last few days and weeks, I won’t have time for a few weeks.

I think that’s about it really. Not much else has happened. My mother has been into hospital to have another operation for her cancer, and is now back home recovering. She will be having her results from that surgery in about 2 weeks time and then we will know what, if any, treatment will be needed. So everyone keep your fingers crossed.

Just a Quick Update.............

So I haven’t written a blog in a few weeks now and I think that I should start again right now. Firstly I have to apologize for why I haven been here much, I have had a few dramas in my life over the last few weeks. Both my Mother & my Auntie have been diagnosed with Breast cancer and it has hit me for six. But anyways let’s move on.

Most of my favourite TV shows are back airing now after the strike and I have loved watching all of the new episodes. Although not all of my shows have been back airing yet I am so loving being able to watch new episodes. I can’t believe that the strike went on for so long, but thank god that it has now ended.

I have a day off of work tomorrow so hopefully I can get some new promos and hopefully a new video up on YouTube as soon as possible. I think the promos will either be tonight or tomorrow morning and hopefully I can finish working on the video this weekend. I’ve been working on t now for a couple of weeks to try and take my mind off of things, but it still needs a bit of working doing to it.

I have also become addicted to another website. It’s called www.kin.g.com it’s a games website where you earn jewels for winning games and stuff. I seem to be playing it for hours now each night. At least it’s helping to keep my mind off of certain things and helped me to pass the time while all of the writer’s were on strike. I totally blame the writers for my addiction to this site.

Other than that not much has happened. I have only 7 weeks and 2 days left on my current contract with my job and am waiting to find out if I am going to be taken on full time or not. So I hope everyone keeps their fingers crossed for me. I really need the job, s I can get better stuff for my computer and improve on the things that I do (like videos etc).

The Weekend

This weekend has been an interesting one. I’ve spent it much of it on my computer (as per Normal) and have been watching alot of my shows which I have been meaning to catch up on. I also have become addicted to solitaire this weekend. On Friday night I was up until 1.30 in the morning playing it. Which is quite sad, I know, but there is something about the game which I find so compelling. But I doubt I am the only person in the world who has become addicted to this game, which makes me feel a little bit better. Although I have found the new version on Vista, not as good as the one of XP, as it keeps asking me if I want to save my game, and the more I keep telling the computer no, it simply isn’t listening to me. But does talking to my computer make me mad? Maybe, a little bit, ok mostly likely it makes me completely off my trolley, but I can live with that. Anyways I found on Saturday that my computer was really slow, now I know I got up early and was on line before I normally am ( and I mean hours earlier) but I think my computer needed its sleep more than me, since I slept for only 7hoursish. But any ways I was awake so I got u to get a head start on the day.

This weekend I have spent much of it catching up on some TV shows and discovering some new ones. I have recently discovered Women’s Murder Club, based upon the books by James Patterson and have totally fallen in love with the show. I’ve also been watching Brothers & Sisters, House, and a couple of other shows. I’ve also re-discovered the art of reading, I have a whole book case full of books which I haven’t read yet and have decided I am going to get reading again and am already reading a book I got half way through and stopped reading a few days after xmas 2006. So hopefully I can finished off a load of books before the summer, this should also help to give me ideas for my own writing as well as for my own vids.

I have a couple of ideas for some new vids in my head right now but I am writing them all down until I get the clips which I need for all of them.

I’m also working on reviews for some TV shows which I have suddenly become addicted to. I know it’s quite sad, but it help me to pass the time. But it not just TV shows I do them for, I sometimes also do them for movies which I have seen. Although on times it is hard to remember all characters names and not getting them all mixed up. But I have my ways of keeping track of them all.

The Strike Is Over

The strike is over

God I have been wanting to write that for a long time and now finally it is true. Although official air dates for alot of shows have yet to be announced, at least we know that some point in April, the majority of shows will return. This has been the early birthday present I have been waiting for since the strike began. That said alot of shows had already aired their finales when the end of the strike was announced, and now (hopefully) there will be some new eps of those shows too. The only two shows I am desperate to air again as Desperate Housewives and Private Practice. Although I did read that Private Practice would not be shooting any more episodes this season but has been signed on to another season. But am also wanting the rest of my favourite shows to come back such as Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, ER, Without A Trace, Ghost Whisperer, One Tree Hill, Desperate Housewives, Heroes, Brothers & Sisters, House, CSI, CSI: Miami, CSI: New York, Criminal Minds, Law & Order: SVU, to name a couple.

All I can say is I hope that the writers were coming up with ideas while they were and strike and reading things written by fans of the shows t get an idea of what the fans really want to happen. Otherwise we may wish that some of them never came back.
