The Weekend

This weekend has been an interesting one. I’ve spent it much of it on my computer (as per Normal) and have been watching alot of my shows which I have been meaning to catch up on. I also have become addicted to solitaire this weekend. On Friday night I was up until 1.30 in the morning playing it. Which is quite sad, I know, but there is something about the game which I find so compelling. But I doubt I am the only person in the world who has become addicted to this game, which makes me feel a little bit better. Although I have found the new version on Vista, not as good as the one of XP, as it keeps asking me if I want to save my game, and the more I keep telling the computer no, it simply isn’t listening to me. But does talking to my computer make me mad? Maybe, a little bit, ok mostly likely it makes me completely off my trolley, but I can live with that. Anyways I found on Saturday that my computer was really slow, now I know I got up early and was on line before I normally am ( and I mean hours earlier) but I think my computer needed its sleep more than me, since I slept for only 7hoursish. But any ways I was awake so I got u to get a head start on the day.

This weekend I have spent much of it catching up on some TV shows and discovering some new ones. I have recently discovered Women’s Murder Club, based upon the books by James Patterson and have totally fallen in love with the show. I’ve also been watching Brothers & Sisters, House, and a couple of other shows. I’ve also re-discovered the art of reading, I have a whole book case full of books which I haven’t read yet and have decided I am going to get reading again and am already reading a book I got half way through and stopped reading a few days after xmas 2006. So hopefully I can finished off a load of books before the summer, this should also help to give me ideas for my own writing as well as for my own vids.

I have a couple of ideas for some new vids in my head right now but I am writing them all down until I get the clips which I need for all of them.

I’m also working on reviews for some TV shows which I have suddenly become addicted to. I know it’s quite sad, but it help me to pass the time. But it not just TV shows I do them for, I sometimes also do them for movies which I have seen. Although on times it is hard to remember all characters names and not getting them all mixed up. But I have my ways of keeping track of them all.

The Strike Is Over

The strike is over

God I have been wanting to write that for a long time and now finally it is true. Although official air dates for alot of shows have yet to be announced, at least we know that some point in April, the majority of shows will return. This has been the early birthday present I have been waiting for since the strike began. That said alot of shows had already aired their finales when the end of the strike was announced, and now (hopefully) there will be some new eps of those shows too. The only two shows I am desperate to air again as Desperate Housewives and Private Practice. Although I did read that Private Practice would not be shooting any more episodes this season but has been signed on to another season. But am also wanting the rest of my favourite shows to come back such as Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, ER, Without A Trace, Ghost Whisperer, One Tree Hill, Desperate Housewives, Heroes, Brothers & Sisters, House, CSI, CSI: Miami, CSI: New York, Criminal Minds, Law & Order: SVU, to name a couple.

All I can say is I hope that the writers were coming up with ideas while they were and strike and reading things written by fans of the shows t get an idea of what the fans really want to happen. Otherwise we may wish that some of them never came back.
